Pomonal Native Flower Show is presented by the Australian Plants Society Grampians Group. The show is held over two days, with flowers picked from private local gardens.
There will be a spectacular display of beautiful native flowers and art work. As well as native plant stalls, as well as botany, gardening and natural history books for sale. Refreshments will be available all day and market stalls will also be present.
The special guest this year will be Jane Edmanson from 'Gardening Australia'.
Talks will be given throughout each day in the marquee adjacent to the Pomonal Hall. This years' speakers will be:
Jane Edmanson - 'Sir Joseph Banks and Daniel Solander'
Bianca Friend from Australian Wildlife Conservancy - 'The projects AWC does for the conservation of small mammals'
Mike Bayly - 'How different plant species and plant communities respond to fire'
