Set in a former aircraft hanger Chapman River Cellar Door is just behind the dunes at Antechamber Bay and next to the airstrip (fly-ins welcome). The four acres of vines just up the hill deliver enough grapes to make the small and interesting range of Chapman River 'Happiness' wine. Enjoy free tastings and sales by the glass, bottle and box. Our current range includes 2011 Chardonnay, 2011 Merlot, 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon , 2004 Cab Sauv/Shiraz/Merlot Blend and for the sweet tooth's an 2009 Viognier. Open from 11am to 4.30pm Thursdays to Mondays we offer our highly renowned lunch platters using local produce such as South Rock lamb, Island Pure cheeses and yoghurt, KI Fresh salads, Modras eggs, locally grown vegetables and herbs and in-house chutneys, dips and biscuits. Try our home made lemon curd cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake,and coconut custard tarts, all served with fresh cream. To finish there's espresso coffee, your choice of teas and hot chocolate.
