The Great Ocean Pool Crawl is an annual charity event, raising much needed funds for Cancer Council NSW - swim two laps in seven Ocean Pools (in the Illawarra).
The fun day begins at the Corrimal Hotel where you jump on the free courtesy buses that will take you from pool to pool. The first pool, Coalcliff will be a 10am start. Enjoy two laps in each rock pool before heading onto the next: Wombarra, Coledale, Austinmer, Bulli, Woonona, Towradgi.
On completion of the seventh pool (Towradgi), visit the surf club for a warm shower and then on to a nearby location for entertainment, prizes and some yummy lunch.
Bring your favourite Sunday swimmers/bathers/boardies/budgie smugglers, sun protection (including sunscreen/zinc, t-shirt/rash and vest/steamer and hat), towel (a couple would be handy). Be creative with your attire, you could win Best Outfit!
