Visit Australia's only miniature sugar mill and distillery, Sarina Sugar Shed for a 1 hour fully guided tour and product tastings of the Rums, Liqueurs, Schnapps, Ginger beer, Fairy floss and Gourmet Sauces, followed by morning tea in the parklands. From there you will travel to Freckle Farm, Deb McLucas will show you first-hand how they produce food in an environmentally and ethically responsible way. You'll enjoy a gourmet Aussie BBQ lunch served with fresh local salad and ingredients. Your afternoon will be filled at Goanna Brewery with a hands-on brewing experience where you can taste, smell and handle the ingredients that go into making beer and cider & a Masterclass of Beer and Cheese matching.

Mackay Farm, Aussie Food and Drinks tours is a fully guide bus tour departing at 8:00am from the Mackay Entertainment and Convection Centre on Alfred Street, Mackay and returning at approximately 4:30pm that afternoon.
Your first stop is the Field of Dreams Parklands the home to Australian's only miniature sugar mill and distillery, the Sarina Sugar Shed. This multi-award winning attraction will take you on a 1 hours guided, interactive, educational and tasty journey of the Queensland Sugar Industry. Taste fresh crushed sugar cane juice and rich sticky molasses, full of complex earthy flavours.  Tantalise your taste buds with our taste testing a drop of the award-winning Rums, Liqueurs and our range of delicious gourmet sauces, chutney and relishes, ginger beer and fairy floss.
Morning Tea is served in the Field of Dreams Parklands where you will have time to explore the nearby Sarina Arts and Crafts Centre, Sarina District Historical Centre and the Sarina Art Gallery.
From there you will travel to Freckle Farm nestled in its own little gorge at the edge of the Pioneer Valley, Deb McLucas will take you on a guided tour of their farm showing you firsthand how they produce food in an environmentally and ethically responsible way.  Freckle Farm is renounced for its free-range eggs, heritage breed pork, grass fed beef. Enjoy a gourmet Aussie BBQ luncheon which will include products from Freckle Farm and served with other fresh local ingredients.
At Goanna Brewery, you will have the opportunity to have a hands-on brewing experience. You can taste, smell and handle the ingredients that go into making Beer and Cider.  You'll even get a sneak peck behind the scenes.Â
Afternoon tea will be served with Goanna Brewery Chief bottle Washer which will include a Masterclass of Beer and Cheese Matching, before being dropped off back at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre.
